ArtsFund Joins Village Theatre for 9 to 5
On November 22, Village Theatre had the pleasure of welcoming ArtsFund and their guests for an unforgettable evening featuring our production of 9 to 5. Before the show, ArtsFund gathered a large group in one of our rehearsal rooms to enjoy food, beverages, and conversation.
During the pre-show reception, Artistic Director Adam Immerwahr and Managing Director Derek Watanabe shared insights about Village Theatre—our history, our mission, and the production the audience was about to experience. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect and celebrate the power of live theater.
ArtsFund plays a vital role in Washington’s arts ecosystem. By bringing together donors, civic leaders, businesses, and public entities, ArtsFund fosters a collective belief in the transformative power of arts and culture. Their engagement efforts create platforms for these communities to gather and champion our thriving arts scene.

Village Theatre was thrilled to share our space, knowledge, and art with ArtsFund and their guests. Through leadership, advocacy, and grantmaking, ArtsFund strengthens the arts across Washington, building a healthy, equitable, and creative state. We are proud to be among the organizations supported annually through ArtsFund’s Annual Fund Allocations and the Youth Arts Opportunity Fund—support that helps us continue creating exceptional theater and educational opportunities.
Thank you, ArtsFund, for your partnership and for all you do to ensure the arts flourish in our communities!
