Generally, assistance will be awarded in the form of a 30%, 60% or 90% discount off tuition, based on need and availability.

Financial assistance may be used for:

• 1 class/Institute enrollment or 1 production per session, per student, during Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions. (Institute students receiving financial assistance may also participate in 1 production per session.)
• 2 camps or 1 production per student in the summer session.

1. Fill out the online application, linked below, and attach a copy of your award letter for your school district’s free/reduced lunch program.  If you are not a participant in the free/reduced lunch program, you may still apply, and be considered for financial assistance.
2. Financial assistance awarded for KIDSTAGE classes/camps and Institute are valid throughout the fiscal year (September 1 through August 31 of the following year).
3. KIDSTAGE productions require a new application for each production that a student wishes to participate in, throughout the year.
4. We will email you when your request has been processed, usually within 5 business days.
5. After receiving your award, you may register for classes online or over the phone by calling (425) 392-1942.

Payment plans are available for most programs. A $50 non-refundable deposit ($100 for all-day and Production Summer camps) is required at the time of registration. Please call the KIDSTAGE office at (425) 392-1942 to arrange for a payment plan.

If amount due after financial aid award is less than $50, the amount due is the deposit. There would be no payment plan available in this case.

• When students need to cancel a registration:
  • Cancellations prior to one week before the class/camp start date will receive a refund less a $50 registration fee (for school-year classes and half-day camps), or less a $100 registration fee (for all-day camps and school year dance programs).
  • Cancellations within the week prior to the first day receive a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations on or after the first day receive no refund.  Tuition paid may be applied to another class or camp, or to another student.

If something unforeseen occurs which prohibits the class/camp from taking place, KIDSTAGE reserves the right to cancel the class/camp. We will notify families as early as possible. If there is space in other classes or camps, we will happily transfer the student, otherwise, a full refund will be provided.
