Mark your calendar and save the date for our Annual Festival of New Musicals, August 2 – 4, 2024! Featuring readings of four new musicals from exciting writers and composers presented on the Village Theatre stage by incredible musical theatre performers. Additional details about the festival schedule and when tickets will be available for reservation will be announced soon.
This year access to our Festival will see a major change that will invite more of our community to participate. Admission to the readings will be free and open to the public. Just because it is free to attend doesn’t mean it is free for us to produce. Your contribution to Village Originals is an investment in the future of musical theater. As a supporter, you’ll gain access to a host of private panel discussions and exclusive, behind-the-scenes events with our artists—many of whom are on the forefront of new musical theater.
As a thank you for your donation, we are excited to offer donor benefits during festival weekend (all benefits are cumulative):
Festival Supporter – Donors giving $1,000 or more to New Works will receive:
- Invitation for Two (2) to Panel presentations about new musicals
- Invitation to the “Festival Inside Scoop” event with our Artistic Staff for Two (2)
- Emailed insights from the Artistic Team about the readings sent before the festival
- Premium reserved seating location for Two (2) for the entirety of the festival
- Donor badge for Two (2)
Festival Investor – Donors giving $3,000 or more to New Works will receive:
- Access for up to Four (4) to an exclusive dinner with some of our Festival artists
- Intermission toasts for Four (4) with the Artistic Director
- Invitation for Four (4) to the Writer’s Party, where you’ll be able to connect directly with our writers.
- Recognition in the festival program
- Supporter level benefits increased to Four (4)
