Skills for Theatre…Skills for Life
KIDSTAGE is uniquely designed to use theatre to build critical life skills in each participant. In KIDSTAGE classes and rehearsals, our techniques encourage creativity, collaboration, problem solving, concentration, public speaking, and a strong work ethic. While some students are on a path to Broadway, all students are improving their futures and increasing self-confidence through involvement in KIDSTAGE and our Technical Theatre Program (TTP). In addition, Village Theatre is home to robust school programs, such as student matinees, in-school classes, and more.

Village Theatre Pied Piper
Village Theatre Pied Piper is committed to providing children with access to the performing arts. Numerous studies have shown a correlation between exposure and involvement in the arts with academic achievement, including higher standardized test scores, improved reading comprehension, and better attendance records.

We provide theatre arts integration workshops to match your class curriculum during school. We offer a wide variety of school day programs from one-day workshops to year-round residences. All lessons fulfill learning standards. Lessons can be built to fit your school’s interests, schedule needs, and budget.

Bring Village Theatre KIDSTAGE classes to your after-school program. Providing a variety of curriculum for PreK-9th grade, KIDSTAGE programs expand valuable life skills such as collaboration and critical thinking, while developing confident actor/creators in an atmosphere that encourages fun, commitment, and taking creative risks in a safe environment.
