Plan Your Visit: Summer Independent

All Village Theatre performances spaces for the summer have been capped at 50% capacity of the venue, regardless of State regulations. Audience members will be socially distanced in groups.

• All individuals (ages 5 and up) in attendance must wear a face covering at all times.
• Plexi-glass protection guards will be provided between box office and patrons.
• There will be no concessions sold prior to or during performances.
• The lobby will open 45 minutes before show time to allow patrons plenty of time to arrive and find their seat.
• Intermissions have been extended to 20 minutes.

Until further notice, masks are required on Village Theatre-managed properties, regardless of vaccination status. 

• A well-fitting mask/face covering, covering both the nose and mouth, should be on BEFORE entering the building, and will be worn in all common areas and when adequate social distancing cannot be maintained.
• Mask/face coverings should be made of 2 or more layers, completely covering the mouth and nose.
• Individuals should observe CDC recommendations for mask care and cleaning.

Please note: Actors will be able to perform without a mask if they are vaccinated. Actors offstage for a period of time will be required to wear a mask while offstage. Unvaccinated actors will be required to wear a mask during all tech rehearsals and performances.

Village Theatre does not require vaccinations as condition of participation or attendance. Vaccination status does not impact mask wearing for patrons. All patrons are required to wear masks when attending Village Theatre productions.

Fully vaccinated individuals do not need to quarantine or get tested if identified as a close contact of someone who has COVID-19 unless symptomatic. We ask that anyone who has been exposed to COVID-19 refrain from attending until they have been tested or completed the 14 day exposure quarantine. Everyone will continue to wear masks and practice social distancing.

All staff, volunteers, and students are required to complete a daily Health Attestation upon entering the building.

Disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer are provided throughout work areas for personal use and to sanitize workstations, equipment, and limit sharing when possible. Frequent hand washing is encouraged in addition to hand sanitizer.

Sanitization of common touch points will happen before, during, and after rehearsals.

In addition to wiping of common touchpoints, Village Theatre cleanings scheduled after rehearsals by paid cleaning professionals following CDC cleaning and sanitization guidelines.
