Youth Musician Opportunities
KIDSTAGE Productions give student musicians something most programs can’t: a seat in the room where it happens. Our orchestras bring together students and professional musicians from Seattle’s top theatres, creating a unique environment where young players don’t just learn about the industry—they learn from it, shoulder to shoulder with the pros.
Eligibility
We strongly recommend at least two years of experience on your instrument(s). Applicants must:
- Be age 14 or older
- Be available for all musician rehearsals and performances
- Have a strong proficiency in sight reading music
- Have a strong work ethic and the ability to learn an entire score outside of scheduled music rehearsals
- Be in possession of, or have access to, their instrument that they can transfer to the space for rehearsals and performances (piano/keyboard is the only exception)
