To audition, there are three steps:  

1. REGISTER 
2. SCHEDULE 
3. PREPARE    

1. Please click the link below to REGISTER. This is whereyou’llprovide actor info, a photo/headshot, a resume/performance experience, casting preferences, etc. Please register as early as possible, so KIDSTAGE can determine the number of students planning to audition for each program.

2. Next, please SCHEDULE your audition appointment. Choose the date and time that works best for you! PLEASE MAKE SURE TO REGISTER BEFORE SCHEDULING YOUR AUDITION.

 To SCHEDULE your audition, click the corresponding link in the registration form.  

3. After registration and scheduling are complete, please PREPARE the following materials for your audition: 

• One audition monologue (one minute or less in length).  
• One audition song (60-90 seconds of music, about 16-32 bars). The song can either be from musical theater or popular music. Please select something that best shows off your voice and range.  
• Auditions are performed with an in-person Piano Accompanist. You will need to bring piano-vocal sheet music for the Accompanist, preferably in a binder or folder for easy playing.

Callbacks for High School Musical JR. in Concert will be held February 7 & 8, 2026. Callbacks will take place in-person at the Cope Gillette Theatre in Everett.

This production program is designed for younger aspiring theater artists. Led by a team of professionals who value mentoring and teaching, this program is the most education-oriented production that KIDSTAGE offers and often takes place during spring semester of the school year. This program focuses on the performer and the development of their artistic process as they learn to create and collaborate with Directors, Music Directors, Choreographers, and Designers, as well as each other.

This concert production will be professionally directed with full lights and sound, minimal scenic design elements, and limited staging. This title comes to life with dynamic, high-quality pre-recorded tracks for a true pop music experience!
