Youth Musician Opportunities

KIDSTAGE Pit Orchestra

KIDSTAGE Productions include opportunities for student musicians. KIDSTAGE orchestras contain a combination of student and professional musicians. This program allows students to build relationships and learn from professional musicians who work in local orchestras and at theaters across the Seattle area.

Eligibility

We strongly recommend at least two years of experience on your instrument(s). Applicants must:

  • Be age 14 or older
  • Be available for all musician rehearsals and performances
  • Have a strong proficiency in sight reading music
  • Have a strong work ethic and the ability to learn an entire score outside of scheduled music rehearsals
  • Be in possession of, or have access to, their instrument that they can transfer to the space for rehearsals and performances. Piano/keyboard is the only exception.
