Village Theatre’s College Prep Program is limited to 12-14 dedicated students who are ready to apply themselves fully. This selective program is designed for those committed to honing their craft and preparing for college-level theater studies.

Auditions will take place alongside our Village Theatre Institute auditions May 9-12 in Everett and May 10-12 in Issaquah

To audition, there are three steps:

1. REGISTER
2. SCHEDULE
3. PREPARE
4. Please click the link below to REGISTER. This is where you’ll provide actor info, a photo/headshot, a resume/performance experience, casting preferences, etc. Please register as early as possible, so KIDSTAGE can determine the number of students planning to audition for each program.

2. Next, please SCHEDULE your audition appointment. Choose the date and time that works best for you! PLEASE MAKE SURE TO REGISTER BEFORE SCHEDULING YOUR AUDITION.

To SCHEDULE your audition, click the corresponding link in the registration form.

3. After registration and scheduling are complete, please PREPARE the following materials for your audition:

• One audition monologue (one minute or less in length).
• One audition song (60-90 seconds of music, about 16-32 bars). The song can either be from musical theater or popular music. Please select something that best shows off your voice and range.
• Auditions are performed with an in-person Piano Accompanist. You will need to bring piano-vocal sheet music for the Accompanist, preferably in a binder or folder for easy playing.

We strive to ensure that all young people are able to participate in our programs. No one will be turned away for inability to pay.

College Prep tuition for the 2025-2026 school year is $1,700 for 2026-2027 Institute students, and $2,300 for non-Institute students. 

Deposit due June 1: 

• 2025-2026 Institute Students: $300 
• Non-Institute Students: $500 

Payment Plan (July – February):  

• Institute Students: $175/month for 8 months  
• Non-Institute Students: $225/month for 8 months

• Village Theatre’s College Prep program is not a pay-as-you-go program. Full payment of the entire tuition is required regardless of the student’s attendance during the year. 

Our Village Theatre College Prep Program is an intensive, outcome-driven training for 12-14 dedicated students preparing for college theater auditions. It offers expert guidance on audition materials, dance prescreens, interview coaching, self-tape techniques, professional headshot support, and mock auditions. With a structured timeline, recommendation letters, and optional essay support, it ensures students are fully prepared. This program pairs well with Village Theatre Institute, which expands the skillset and craft of dedicated performers.
