Backstage parties provide our donors with an exclusive, sneak peek behind the curtain at the magic Village Theatre artisans create onstage. Each party features a presentation of some aspect of theatre, from sound design to script-writing, directing, and more.

Backstage Parties for 2022-2023 Season will be on the following dates:

• January 15, 2023: Cinderella in Everett and online
• June 11, 2023: Hello, Dolly! in Issaquah and online

Dates are subject to change.

Village Theatre hosts the New Works Cabaret at First Stage Theatre in Issaquah. Donors and Village Originals Members are invited to a lively party highlighting songs from new musicals and our Village Originals program, performed by audience favorite artists who have appeared on our stages.

The date for the 2022-23 New Works Cabaret will be posted here soon. Stay tuned!

Facility tours provide donors with an exclusive look at Village Theatre’s Mainstage space. Donors are invited to join us for a cup of coffee and a doughnut, and then are given a peek backstage, behind the curtain, in the pit, and more!

Facility tours are by invitation only, and invites will be sent via email. If you have questions about this benefit, or would like more information, please contact giving@villagetheatre.org.

Formerly held as a holiday event, the annual Donor Cruise provides a unique combination of music, friends, and a boat trip through the Seattle area. Donors embark on a cruise of Lake Washington and Lake Union while enjoying food, drink, and a performance by Village Theatre favorites. And don’t forget about the lovely skyline view to top off our voyage!

The Annual Donor Cruise is scheduled for April 14, 2022. Dates are subject to change.

Exploring theatrical productions in a virtual world

These virtual events for donors and subscribers, provide attendees with a look back at a past Village Theatre production, and the opportunity to interact with a few of the actors from that production. Shows that we have featured in these conversations include Showboat, Billy Elliot, and Jesus Christ Superstar.
