Performance Policies
  • In consideration of the patrons around you and the performers on stage, please refrain from talking once the performance has begun.
  • Please use moderation in applying perfume or cologne, as many people are allergic to scents.
  • If you must leave during a performance, please use the rear exits.
Gift Voucher Redemption

Gift Certificates must be redeemed in person or over the phone and cannot be redeemed online. To receive optimal seating selection, gift vouchers should be redeemed as soon as possible. Reservations are required for guaranteed seating. After redemption, standard exchange policies apply, and tickets are non-refundable.

Ticket Service Fee

A $5 per ticket service fee is charged for non-subscription ticket purchases made in person or over the phone. A $3 per ticket service fee is charged for non-subscription ticket purchases made online.

Ticket Refunds

All ticket and subscription sales are final and non-refundable, including fees.

Ticket Exchanges 

4-show and 5-show Subscribers* may exchange tickets for a different performance up to 24 hours before their current scheduled performance, subject to availability. 4-show/5-show Subscribers who exchange their tickets for a higher-priced Performance Type or Price Zone will be charged the difference in cost at the time of exchange. To make an exchange, please complete this  online form, call the box office at (425) 392-2202, or visit us in-person at either location.

3-show Subscribers and Single Ticket holders may exchange tickets for a different performance up to 24 hours before their current scheduled performance, subject to availability. Tickets exchanged into a higher-priced Performance Type or Price Zone will be charged the difference in cost at the time of exchange, plus a $12 per ticket exchange fee. *Flex 3 Subscriptions do not include the No Hassle Exchange perk. Flex 3 tickets and Single Tickets are subject to a $12 per ticket exchange fee.

Families with Young Children

Children under four (4) are not permitted in the main auditorium of any of our theatres (including the Everett Performing Arts Center, Francis J. Gaudette Theatre, Cope Gilette Theatre, and Hunt Family Theatre). In the Francis J. Gaudette Theatre in Issaquah only, families may bring children of any age if seated in one of two Family Rooms. These viewing areas are sound-proof and glass-enclosed to allow for more relaxed theater-going etiquette and attending to personal needs. Any child occupying a seat needs a ticket. Please call the box office for more information.

Electronic Devices

Please turn off all cellular phones, pagers, and electronic devices prior to the performance. Cameras or other recording devices (photographic or otherwise) may not be used in the theatre during performances. No text messaging is allowed during the performance.

Cash Machine

In Issaquah, there is an ATM located outside Columbia Bank just north of the Theatre’s main doors. In Everett, there is a Wells Fargo ATM on the corner of California and Wetmore and a KeyBank ATM just off Everett Avenue behind the Everett Performing Arts Center.

Concessions

Coffee, water, juice, and light snacks are sold in the main lobby of the theatre. Limited bar service is also available.

Food and Drink
  • No food is permitted in the theatre.
  • Beverages purchased in lidded cups and bottled water from concessions may be brought into the theatre. Patrons may be permitted to bring in an empty personal water bottle (no glass) at the discretion of the House Manager. Water bottle filling stations are available in the lobby.
  • Please consume all other refreshments and dispose of refuse while in the lobby.
Late Seating

To ensure the safety of our artists and audiences, we are unable to guarantee late seating. Please plan accordingly for travel, parking, and finding your seats.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in any part of the building or within 25 feet of any entrance.

Public Phones

There is a courtesy telephone located in the lobby next to the box office at the Everett Performing Arts Center.  There are no public phones at Issaquah’s Francis J. Gaudette theatre.  Please turn off all cell phones and other recording devices during the performance.

Weather

When inclement weather occurs, performance alerts will be sent to ticket holders as quickly as possible via email and phone. Alerts will also be posted to our website and Facebook/Instagram. Ticket adjustments will only be made if Village Theatre cancels the performance.

Emergency Numbers

To be reached during a show, patrons may give out our House Manager’s number. The caller should know your row and seat numbers and be able to describe you. This will help the House Manager find you.
