KATIE J. NEWBURY, (Director/Choreographer) is thrilled to be serving as director/choreographer for this production! Previous credits: Into the Woods, The Prom, The SpongeBob Musical, Urinetown (Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE), Something’s Afoot (The 5th Avenue Theatre Rising Star Project). As a fat-bodied artist, Katie is dedicated to showing that great work knows no size. ARIONA THOMPSON, she/her (Music Director) has worked at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE in many capacities, including Institute Instructor, Summer Camp Instructor, and Associate Music Director of Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 (Issaquah), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Everett), and Disney’s Newsies (Everett SummerStock). Ariona works with all ages, serving as Choir Director and Theater Company Music Director at Woodinville High School, 1st and 2nd Grade Music Teacher at Kenmore Elementary School, and 3rd-5th grade Instructor with Northwest Girl Choir.
KEKOA DILAY, he/him (Associate Choreographer/ Associate Music Director) is pumped to be back at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE supporting team choreo and music with the coolest wildcats around! Previous credits: Shrek the Musical JR., Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Guys and Dolls and While They Last (KIDSTAGE), You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Chief Sealth International High School).
