JOSH ZIMMERMAN (Music Director) is thrilled to be a part of KIDSTAGE again! He is a recipient of Broadway World Seattle and Gypsy Rose Lee awards for music direction. Credits include Assistant Music Director/Keys 2 for GREASE: das Musical (Musical Tommy GmbH) and Children’s Music Director for the first national tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s School of Rock (Troika). He maintains a private studio and accompanies for Cornish College of the Arts and Pacific Northwest Ballet.
JEFF BELL (Music Director) is excited to be returning to KIDSTAGE with this production of Into the Woods Jr. after having music directed Shrek in pre-COVID times. Other area credits include productions for Seattle Children’s Theatre, Auburn Community Players, Renton Civic Theatre, Broadway Olympia, Harlequin Productions, Tacoma Little Theatre, Village Theatre and The 5th Avenue Theatre as well as productions at Cornish College of the Arts.
REBECCA STROM [she/her] (Scenic Designer) is a scenic designer, artist, and illustrator from Seattle, Washington. She graduated with a BFA in Performance Production from Cornish College of the Arts in 2021. Her past credits include RENT (SIP 2019), Tuck Everlasting (SIP 2020), The Drowsy Chaperone (CCA 2021), Spitfire Grill (SIP 2021), and most recently, Urinetown (SIP 2021). She works as a freelance scenic artist, scenic painter, and illustrator in her free time. As a past student of the Summer Independent Program, she is elated to be a part of this team, and so grateful to everyone at VT for all they’ve done!
KILAH WILLIAMS [she/her] (Costume Designer) is a costume designer and maker working around the Pacific Northwest. She hails from Louisiana but moved to the great state of Washington after finishing her education. She completed her B.F.A. in costume design at Baylor University in Texas, her M.A. in costume design at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, and a training program at the Teatro Piccolo in Milan. Locally she has worked with Island Shakespeare Festival, Seattle Academy, IAJ Media, Chrysalis Circus, and others. This is her first show with Kidstage, and she is thrilled to collaborate with all the talented artists on the team.
ROBERT MATOS [he/him] (Lighting Designer) is beyond excited to light another Kidstage production! He recently lit Urinetown with Village Theatre Kidstage this past summer. Robbie graduated from Cornish College of the Arts with a degree in Performance Production. He has worked on a variety of performance-based projects in the Seattle area in venues such as The Cornish Playhouse, Velocity Dance Studio, and The Erickson Theatre. His current residency is at The Can Can Cabaret located in Pike Place Market where he is the full-time lighting and sound technician. OLIVIA TOOMBS (Stage Manager) is very excited to be working with Village Theatre KIDSTAGE, previously she has worked on the Summer Independent program in 2018 and 2019. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri she moved to Seattle to finish her education in Stage Management at Cornish College of the Arts. Most recently she had the joy of being a Production Assistant on Winter’s Tale at the Seattle Repertory Theatre Public Works program directed by Desdemona Chiang and Mala at Seattle Public Theatre directed by Sophie Franco. She gives her thanks to her friends, family, and mentors for all their support.

ANDRE BURMAN [he/him] (Technical Director) Andre loves dogs and theatre. Building, engineering, and installing sets for 20 years, Andre supervises all aspects of scenery and stage work. A former English teacher, gardener, sailor, and probiotic-technician, he holds a BA in English Lit/ Secondary Education and loves working with the innovative artistic teams and super-talented casts and crews of Kid-stage! Favorite Kid-stage sets have been Little Mermaid, School of Rock, Tarzan, and James & the Giant Peach.
