Village Theatre believes that experiential learning in theatre arts is a powerful tool for building essential life and career skills including critical thinking, concentration, collaboration, discipline, communication and creativity. We strive to ensure that all young people, regardless of financial circumstances, are able to participate in our programs.
Thanks to generous donors, foundations, and corporate support, we are able to offer financial assistance ranging from 25% to 75% of the published tuition.
The process to apply for financial assistance is easy and non-invasive:
- Apply online or download and return the mail-in Financial Assistance Form. We will email you when your request has been processed and financial assistance is awarded.
- Register for classes online, via phone by calling (425) 740-5035, or by returning a downloadable mail-in registration form.
Please ensure you have received notification of your financial assistance award before attempting to pay tuition; otherwise your credit card will be charged for the full tuition.
Families need only apply for financial assistance once per year. Funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to families whose incomes are 80% or less of the Area Median Income (per HUD income guidelines for Snohomish and King County). By signing the Financial Assistance Form, you are testifying to your income range and the associated tuition credit for which you qualify. You will not be asked for proof of income when you apply. Village Theatre reserves the right to verify submissions.
Limit 2 classes or 1 production per session per student during Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions.
Limit 3 camps or 1 production per student in the Summer session.
10% discount when registering more than one student from the same family or when registering for more than one class. No promo code necessary; discount will be automatically applied to eligible registrations.
May not be combined with any other offers or discounts.
Payment plans are available for Fall and Winter Sessions. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration. Please call the KIDSTAGE office at (425) 740-5035 to arrange for a payment plan.
If amount due after financial aid award is less than $50, the amount due is the deposit. There would be no payment plan in this case.
Cancellations up to and including the first day of class/camps will be refunded, less a $50 cancellation fee. For all-day summer camps in Issaquah only, the cancellation fee is $100. No refunds will be given after the second class/camp in either location.
If a class does not fill, or if something unforeseen occurs, we reserve the right to cancel a class. We will notify you as early as possible and a full refund will be made.
