Zoom Webinar
Speaker: Madeline Gauthier, former Assistant Attorney General and Estate Planning Attorney
Date: October 19, 2021
“It’s an amazing fact: 70% of Americans (lawyers included) have not written a Last Will or Living Trust.” – Madeline Gauthier
October 18-24 is National Estate Planning Awareness Week! While we know this can feel like a difficult or sensitive subject, we wanted to share some important resources and information with you since 70% of adults over the age of 50 do not have a will. To help explain why it’s incredibly important for everybody to have an estate plan, we have partnered with local estate attorney, Madeline Gauthier, to present an informational session on October 19.
Madeline is a former Assistant Attorney General for the state of Washington and has been an estate planning and probate attorney for 28 years. She loves helping people with their estates and helping to solve the problems and puzzles that can arise, especially when there is not appropriate advanced planning. She even wrote a book called “Where There’s a Will, There’s a Way!: A Guide to Wills, Living Trusts, Taxes and Planning for the Ones You Love” to help her educate others about the ins and outs of the estate planning process in an easy to understand way.
We are excited to be hosting Madeline on October 19 at 12:00 p.m. via Zoom. This session will be a 30 minute brief introduction to estate planning, followed by a Q&A. It’s never too early to begin planning for the future, and Madeline will be especially addressing some of the laws that exist in Washington state that you may not be aware of. What better way to celebrate National Estate Planning Awareness Week than to educate yourself on this important topic.
Send in your RSVP and join us on October 19!
