Choreography callbacks for The Spitfire Grill will consist of a Zoom dance call, led by Spitfire Grill Choreographer Tracy Anderson. Please come warmed-up, in comfortable clothes, ready to move!
The Zoom Dance Call is Monday, May 17 from 5:00pm-6:30pm PST.
Please email kidstageproductions@villagetheatre.org ASAP if you are called for the Zoom dance call and cannot attend. All dancers called to the Zoom dance call will be indicated on their callback list. Please make sure you have your Zoom name listed the same as the name you used to register for your audition. This dance call is going to be a super fun, stress-free opportunity to further familiarize yourself with the style of choreography in Spitfire Grill.
We anticipate about 30 minutes of introductions and discussion about what Tracy is looking for during the dance call (emphasis on the storytelling, acting style, etc.) Then Tracy will teach a brief combination in the style of the show. It will be reviewed, and dancers will be broken into small groups to run the combo. We will provide feedback for everybody and then we will do it again!
