Logan Vaughn (Director) is a New York-based artist and director of new work. As a director, she has worked with The Public Theater, MCC Theater, Sundance, South Coast Repertory Theatre, Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, The Apollo Theater, Geva Theatre, The Playwrights Realm, Mosaic Theatre and National Black Theatre. Logan received a 2019 Outer Critics Circle nomination for Best Direction of a Play for the New York premiere of Loy A. Webb’s The Light at MCC Theater and won Broadway World’s 2019 Outstanding Play Production for the world premiere of America V. 2.1: The Sad Demise and Eventual Extinction of the American Negro by Stacey Rose at Barrington Stage Company. She directed the first North American production of Nicholas Wright’s A Human Being Died That Night at Mosaic Theatre. And directed the world premieres of Mat Smart’s The Agitators at Geva Theatre which became the highest grossing production of Geva Theatre’s history as well as the world premiere of Legacy Land by Stacey Rose at Kansas City Rep Theatre. Logan was the director-in-residence at Playwrights Horizon; a Sundance Institute Fellow; Joyce Arts Fellow; and Lincoln Center Director’s Lab Fellow. In 2019 she was named Associate Artistic Director of Ojai Playwrights Conference, and is the Associate Director of the First National Broadway Tour of Ain’t Too Proud—The Life and Times of The Temptations.
Aaron Jafferis (Writer) is a writer whose works Smooth Criminal, Tell, Activist Songbook, The Ones, (Be)longing, Trigger, Stuck Elevator, and Kingdom have been produced by The Old Globe, American Conservatory Theater, Nashville Opera, Collective Consciousness, and many others. Honors include a Creative Capital Award, Richard Rodgers Award, NEA Art Works Grant, NEFA National Theatre Project Grant, and multiple MacDowell Fellowships. Aaron is also a former Open Rap Slam champion at the National Poetry Slam Championships.

Kiriakos “YAKO 440” Prodis (Composer) is a New York City-based multimedia and teaching artist. The grandson of Greek, Russian, & UK immigrants, he is a white anti-racist activist. As a multi-instrumentalist beatmaker / human beatboxer / visual artist, Yako 440 has traveled to six continents as a performer, educator, and cultural ambassador. He has composed music, designed sets and projections for theater performances at Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), HERE Arts Center, BRIC Arts Media, and a variety of international venues. Mr. Prodis holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree from Goddard College’s Interdisciplinary Arts program.
Gabriel “Kwikstep” Dionisio (Writer) started dancing between the ages of 6 and 7, influenced by Soul Train and block parties in NYC. Kwikstep has performed in PBS’s Peabody Award-winning Everybody Dance Now, the Great Performances 20th Anniversary Special, and Kurt Weill’s September Songs, which was nominated for an Emmy Award. He won a 1991 Bessie Award for choreography and founded the internationally known non-profit Full Circle in 1992. He was also an original founding member and principal dancer in companies such as Rhythm Technicians and GhettOriginal. In 2002, Gabriel along with his wife Rokafella wrote, choreographed, and directed Soular Powerd and Outside The BachX. In 2018, he choreographed the DanSpace Project piece called Boxed In which was voted one of 7 top shows to see in NYC by the New York Times. Kwikstep choreographed a piece in Times Square called Behind The Groove Times Square Edition. Kwikstep and Rokafella are currently working on a new dance theater piece commissioned by Jacobs Pillow.
Ana “Rokafella” Garcia (Writer) is a NYC native who has represented women in Hip-hop dance professionally over the past three decades. She co-founded Full Circle Prod Inc, NYC’s only nonprofit Hip hop Dance Theater company, directed a documentary highlighting the Bgirl lifestyle entitled “All The Ladies Say,” and is is hired internationally to judge Break dance competitions. She has worked within the NYC public school system, various NYC based community centers, and has been featured in pivotal Rap music videos, tours, film, fashion shows, and commercials, as well as choreographed for diverse festivals / concerts such as The NY Philharmonic Orchestra’s Firebird in 2022, The Kennedy Center, Momma’s Hip-hop Kitchen and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Presently she is an adjunct professor at The New School and a content creator for Bronx Net TV producing her own TV series entitled “Kwik2Rok”. Rokafella is a multi-faceted Afro Latin Hip-hop artist who references Nuyorican culture as her foundation.

He is currently the Artistic Director of Actors’ Shakespeare Project in Boston and Sr. Lecturer at Boston University. Morgan J. Smart, she/her (Dramaturg) is a librettist and dramaturg with an MFA in Musical Theatre Writing from NYU. Morgan‘s work has been presented in NYU’s Musical Theatre workshop (2019), GoodSpeed Opera House (2018), Broadway’s Future Songbook Diversity series (Lincoln Center, 2018), and William Finn’s Emerging Writers at New York Theatre Barn. Kevin Boseman, he/him (Choreographer) began his professional career performing soloist roles with the legendary Martha Graham Dance Company and as a principal dancer with the world-renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. He most recently choreographed the world premiere of Nina Simone: Four Women at South Coast Repertory Theatre. Other choreographic credits include the world premiere of the critically acclaimed America v. 2.1 at Barrington Stage Company, and concert/ staged readings at The Apollo Theater and Ojai Playwrights Festival.
Jerome Aparis, he/him (Director of Breaking) Jeromeskee, co-founder of world-renowned Massive Monkees crew and 2-time world champion, has been breaking since 1996. He has danced on many TV shows and showcased award-winning choreography in music videos and for notable artists. He has battled, performed, and judged all over the world and is founder of Massive Break Challenge, a youth breaking league. He is officially certified to judge breaking for The Olympics and is Co-Director of Body Language Studio in Renton, WA.

Marcy Suarez (Projection Content Creator) is a Miami-based muralist, visual artist and sign painter. Mars trained at New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida where she studied fine art, drawing, and photography. She further developed her career in Miami as a muralist and sign painter. Mars has painted murals for local businesses in her community and has been commissioned by & collaborated with globally-recognized brands and businesses, including Universal Studios Orlando, Walt Disney Swan & Dolphin Resort, Amazon, Papa John’s, The Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Trader Joe’s, Sobie Fabrics, Major Ink Tattoos, among many others.
Miranda C. Pratt, she/her (Stage Manager) is thrilled to be back at Village Theatre after Stage Managing You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. She’s also stage-managed Songs for a New World and has assistant managed many shows including Dreamgirls, Hairspray, and Matilda. She also works regularly at Seattle Shakespeare Company and loves to stage-manage for the 14/48 Projects whenever possible. In her spare time, Miranda enjoys lifting heavy things and hanging out with her husband and cat.
Erin B. Zatloka (Stage Manager) was most recently at the 5th Avenue Theatre where she production staged-managed Into the Woods. Also this past season she was the stage manager on Choir Boy, a co-production between 5th Avenue and ACT Theatre. Edward-Vincent Montemayor Bantasan, he/him (Nurse Bowen U/S) aka The Beatbox Panda has been mastering the art of beatboxing since 2001. He pursued beatbox as a profession in 2009 and committed to perform his best routines on every stage. Vincent has worked hard to perfect his craft and performed at venues all over the nation. He has earned multiple accolades including placing in the Top 16 beatboxers in the USA, opening for Snoop Dogg, and becoming Seattle’s Beatbox Champion in 2019.
Cheryse Dyllan, she/her (Ana) may be best known for her work on television (Law & Order, Succession, Invasion, New Amsterdam), as well as breakout roles in feature films like Roxanne Roxanne and A Vigilante. She has studied theatre under the tutelage of the esteemed Ann Dowd, and received dance and musical training in a multidisciplinary program at the Philadelphia University of the Arts. Cheryse is thrilled to take the stage at Village Theatre in How to Break.

John Kent Rickenbacker Jr., he/him (Nurse Bowen) also known as Fudge, or Fudgedacomedian, is an American actor, comedian, and beatboxer. He is making his stage play/Village Theatre debut with How to Break. John has appeared on Wu-Tang: An American Saga, HBO’s Crashing, and is known for his famous pancake spot for one of Credit Karma’s most popular commercials. 
Cristian Rodriguez (Joel) is a Baltimore native who is beyond thankful to be making his Village Theatre debut! Romans 10:9.
