Triple Threat : Seize the Day!

“Now is the time to seize the day!” In this online musical theatre class, you’ll be inspired by musicals that take a stand for the people’s rights – such as Newsies, Hamilton, Les Miserables, and more – while you sharpen your performance skills. Raise the bar and take artistic risks in singing, dance, and acting. You’ll grow your technique as you learn how to add dance and movement to your storytelling and expand your vocal skills.

Tap (Beginning)

Grab your tap shoes, jazz shoes, socks, or just your feet! Tap is an essential skill for all musical theatre performers, and you can learn the foundational tap skills and steps no matter your at-home circumstances. Develop fundamental technique, rhythm, flexibility, coordination, and style from the comfort of your home so that you are prepared to move forward and further your skills when you get back into the studio! Tap shoes are recommended but not required for this class.

Dance Essentials (Beginning)

In this online class you will work on musical theatre dance technique and fundamentals. Explore the world of acting through dance: specificity of movement, dancing with strength, and selling a dance number. You’ll also learn and celebrate different dancing styles while you dive into the rich history of dance and the many talented dancers and choreographers from Martha Graham to Alvin Ailey.
