In this tuition-free opportunity, we offer youth artists a space to meet with peers, community partners, and program mentors of color to cultivate ideas, create work, and share creative space. All forms of artistic expression are welcome, including music and dance, songs and poetry, and all approaches to storytelling. The goal of this program is to uplift and celebrate local emerging artists of color wherever they are on their creative journey. No experience necessary.

Saturday Dance Program

Join us for winter, spring, or both, based on the schedule that works for you and your family. In this new block-style schedule, you don’t have to worry about choosing the right class for your student, we do that for you! During our 2.5 hour Saturday Dance Program, students will be continually assessed and placed at the level that is correct for them. Students will have the opportunity to move around during the session to have all their dance needs met. In whichever unit we are working through, whether it is Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Ballet, or Contemporary, we will focus on acting through dance, specificity of movement, dancing with strength, technique, and style. Students will increase flexibility and improve core strength through exploration of movement, fundamental technique, turns, jumps, rhythm, flexibility, and coordination. Get a leg up on musical theatre dance vocabulary and a solid base for all your musical theatre dance goals.
