Families registering for multiple classes receive a 10% discount. Not valid with any other offers. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify.

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY

$50.00 of each tuition is non-refundable. The remainder of tuition is refundable up to, and including, the first day of camp. No refunds will be given after the second day. If KIDSTAGE has to cancel a class due to lack of enrollment, a full refund will be given.

STUDENT PERKS:

All KIDSTAGE students are eligible for half-price single student tickets to any Village Theatre Mainstage production on sale while enrolled. This discount applies to students only. Parents or siblings are welcome to attend at regular prices. To ensure the production is appropriate for your family, please consult the performance Preview Guide online.

Exploratory Acting – Animal Kingdom Adventures (Grades PreK-K)

Join Simba and Nala as we explore the world of our favorite animals. Bring to life colorful characters through creative stories, crafts, and theatre games. Exploratory Acting classes provide literature-based drama activities that promote literacy comprehension, confidence, collaboration, and creativity.

Exploratory Acting – Superhero Adventures (Grades 1st-2nd)
12:30-1:30 PM
Tuition: $165

Save the day! Students experience the adventurous world of super humans through thrilling stories, craft projects, and theatre games in this class featuring capes, spidey senses, and team work. Exploratory Acting classes provide literature-based drama activities that promote literacy comprehension, confidence, collaboration, and creativity.

Fundamental Acting and Musical Theatre (Grades 1-5)

Exploratory Acting – Mythical Character Creations (Grades 3rd-5th)

Tuition: $165

Build characters from the ground up using your voice, body, facial expressions, and creativity. Be inspired by characters from Greek, Norse, Roman, and other mythology. Students will expand valuable life skills such as ensemble building, self-confidence, and problem-solving while developing their capacities as actors/creators and creative collaborators in an atmosphere that encourages fun, commitment, and taking creative risks in a safe environment.

Musical Theatre – Friend Like Me! (Grades 1st-2nd)
1:30-2:30 PM
Tuition: $165

Celebrate the story of Aladdin by singing and dancing to your favorite songs such as “Friend Like Me” and “Prince Ali.” Learn vocal, dance, and acting techniques using songs you love. Beginning musical theatre camps develop theatre and life skills like storytelling through movement, singing technique, and collaboration.

Musical Theatre – Circle of Life (Grades 3rd-5th)
12:30 -1:30 PM
Tuition: $165

“Hakuna Matata!” No worries in this class featuring songs and scenes from the new Lion King movie. Join the herd on a journey so incredible it will make you sing and dance “The Circle of Life.” Just make sure to “Be Prepared” for anything. Beginning musical theatre classes develop theatre and life skills like storytelling through movement, singing technique, and collaboration.

Musical Theatre – Whole New World (Grades 3rd-5th)
2:30-3:30 PM
Tuition: $165

Explore new worlds with characters from Aladdin, Moana, and more, while singing and dancing to songs like “A Whole New World” and “How Far I’ll Go.” Learn vocal, dance, and acting techniques using songs you love. Beginning musical theatre camps develop theatre and life skills like storytelling through movement, singing technique, and collaboration.

Intermediate/Advanced Acting and Musical Theatre (Grades 6 - Age 20)

Acting – Actor’s Toolkit (Grades 6th-9th)
12:30-2:00 PM
Tuition: $230

Develop your personal actor's toolkit of imagination, facial expressions, voice, gesture, and body language. Delve into theatrical movement, vocal exercises (to help you protect and project your voice), techniques to fine tune your concentration, and expand and support your imagination. Students will expand valuable life skills such as ensemble building, self-confidence, and problem-solving while developing their capacities as actor/creators and collaborators in an atmosphere that encourages fun, commitment, and taking creative risks in a safe environment.

Musical Theatre – Epic Musicals (Grades 6th-9th)
2:30-4:00PM
Tuition: $165

Epic myths set the stage for this intermediate/advanced class for passionate performers. Sing and dance to songs from Disney’s Hercules, Tony-Award-winning Hadestown, and the new-musical String. This fun and challenging class has an emphasis on performance technique and musical theatre skills.

Singing for Musical Theatre – This is Me: Empowerment Songs (Grades 6th-9th)
11:00 AM-12:30 PM
Tuition: $230

Celebrate your unique identity with songs that make us say hey! this is ME. Use songs from The Greatest Showman and other stories that feature strong identities. Students expand their vocal range, fine-tune their ears, strengthen breathing, and learn new music, all in a small class. (This class does not take the place of individual voice lessons, which should be taken privately, year-round, for serious singers.)

Singing for Musical Theatre – Welcome to the Rock: Island Songs (Grades 8th-12th)
12:30-2:00 PM
Tuition: $230

Come From Away, Once on this Island, Moana, and other island vibes set the scene for this singing technique class. Students expand their vocal range, fine tune their ears, strengthen breathing, and learn new music, all in a small class of eight students maximum. (This class does not take the place of individual voice lessons, which should be taken privately, year-round for serious singers.)

Saturday Morning Dance Classes (Grades 4th-Age 20)

Saturday Dance: Tap (Beginning-Advanced) (Grades 4th-Age 20)
10:00-11:00 AM
Tuition: $165 per quarter or $450 for three quarters

Tap is an essential skill for all musical theatre performers. Students will be placed in groups by skill level on the first day, and will work on fundamental techniques, rhythm, flexibility, coordination, and style. We recommend buying tap shoes at Petticoat Junction in Lynnwood. We have used tap shoes to share – financial circumstances should not be a barrier to participate.

Saturday Dance: Jazz (Beginning-Advanced) (Grades 4th-Age 20)
11:00 AM-12:15 PM

Tuition: $185 per quarter or $500 for three quarters
Jazz is an essential skill for all musical theatre performers. Students will be placed in groups by skill level on the first day, and will work on fundamental techniques, rhythm, flexibility, coordination, and style.
