Art Without Boundaries
Art Without Boundaries is an affinity space for BIPOC youth artists in 7th-12th grade. (BIPOC = Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.)
Are you a BIPOC performer, creator, or writer? Would you enjoy making new friends and feeling really part of something? Have you wanted to be in a safe and brave space to create, tap into your imagination, support others and receive support, and just be yourself? Join us for Art Without Boundaries supported by BIPOC mentors.
This BIPOC affinity space will embrace students wherever they are on their creative and personal journey. This will be a space where anything can happen! Work on and share individual projects with support from peers and mentors, work on a collaborative project using theatre, music, and dance techniques to generate story and create art together, or anything else your imagination and interest inspires.
This program is for students who have an interest in expressing themselves by creating art – whether it be writing stories, dancing, generating poetry, playing or composing music in any genre, drawing, painting, or anything else artistic!
If you would like to join this program or learn more, please complete this quick informational survey, so that we may follow up with you.
Days: Saturdays (in-person and/or virtual) now through May 21, 2022. (There are breaks for holidays that will be shared with participants)
Tuition: This program is tuition free.
