Since Iron Curtain is packed with commie-dic references to everyone’s favorite food staple--the POTATO, we've decided to let everyone get in on the fun as the Issaquah and Everett communities excitedly await the opening of Village Theatre’s newest original musical.
We will be using our Facebook page and website to post pictures of potatoes at our favorite Issaquah and Everett locations. The Issaquah clues will begin the week of February 21, while the Everett clues will begin the week of March 28. Use these pictures, as well as the clues that we’ll provide in status updates, to figure out where our potato is posing and take a picture of yourself with your favorite kind of potato at the same location. Creativity is strongly encouraged.
Be the first to post your picture to our Facebook page to win a pair of tickets to hear the potato references for yourself when Iron Curtain debuts at the Francis J. Gaudette Theatre in Issaquah (runs March 16-April 24) or the Everett Performing Arts Center (runs April 29-May 22).
Like a game of hot potato, our potato model never stays still for long. We will post a different location every week for seven weeks in Issaquah and six weeks in Everett, so there are up to thirteen chances for you to win a pair of tickets to see Iron Curtain.
Every submitted photo will also earn an entry for the grand prize- a pair of season tickets for the 2011-2012 Season at Village Theatre, so be sure to enter a photo every week!
